Shade-Infected Escaped Test Subject

On an island to the far northernmost edge of the Lightweaver's domain lives a clan with many secrets. Far below the ground, buried beneath tons of rock and seven helical research labs, lies the headquarters of the Corrupted Uprising. Their goal: World Domination.

To that end, they have started a daring project. By reverse-engineering Plague dragons' natural savagery, applying it to the offspring of the Corruption's two strongest members, and then adding further augmentation with top-notch cybernetics and nanotechnology, they hope to create the perfect soldier. Sometimes, however, they go to far, and one of their subjects escapes to wreck havoc on the world.

Kerrigor is one such escapee. Whereas his predecessors Rosalind and Angelus only underwent genetic and cybernetic enhancements, the Corruption's scientists made a gamble and infected Kerrigor with THE SHADE - a decision that proved to be a very bad idea.

Augmentations Applied:

Cybernetic Horns - allow contact via radio waves over long distance. Relay visual input from optical nerd to monitors back at base.
Carbon Fiber Skeletal Enhancement - modifications to skeletal structure allow subject to sustain high speed impact without injury and fly greater distances due to reduced weight.
Shade Infection - who authorized this? seriously, WHO THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA??

Abilities Displayed:

PHASE WALKING - Subject does not appear to be in phase with physical world, and displays the ability to walk through physical objects and teleport short distances through shadows.
VIRULENT BITE - Subject's saliva appears to contain virulent Shade particles. Wounds inflicted on Longneck (50kg) begin to seep black pus within 45 minutes, send victim into convulsions by the four (4) hours, and induce coma by six (6) hours. Full Shade exorcism required to remove effects of bite.
THRALL - Subject displays mild hypnotic ability, freezing prey in place via eye contact. Has not developed ability to command sentients (yet).

Further Experimentation Notes:

Subject drips black oily substance at all times.
Wounds seal quickly with black goo, but may reopen completely unhealed days or weeks later.
Subject displays ability to dissolve parts of body into black goo, unknown if intentional. Debate over useful applications.
