An angel as if from heaven, Iophiel fell from the sky while crossing Tidelord's domain. She was brought back to the lair by Yuki and nursed back to health by Gear. The two have been inseparable ever since. An accident with Midnight's cauldron as he was experimenting with the new brew from Baldwin caused her to change into the newly-created Bogsneak, but Iophiel loves the change. She never realized how tightly-wound and anxious she had been until the change. Now she's content to sleep all day, though she still likes to assist Gear on his projects. Recently, she has become adept at creating clockwork puppets, and imbues them with magic to give them a life of their own. The hatchlings are delighted, and Gear thinks it's a beautiful marriage of technology and magic, but the soulless stares of the puppets often unnerve adults. Some swear they are watching and learning, even when they are still. Iophiel finds them all charming, however, and is sure to have a name for each and every one.
