Myre

Separated young, it seemed completely by chance that Melinoe and her brother Myre would find eachother here, many years later.

Starswirl, however, thinks otherwise, having seen them in his visions on the moonless night we found them.. awoken from his sleep suddenly, the Obelisk rushed to gather a search party, only muttering of "two the color of night" who needed our help.

Myre was found in the North, unharmed but simply wandering between clans, out of place and traversing the darkness alone.

Melinoe, on the other claw, was found injured in the West, chased out of the Scarred Wasteland and hunted into the Tangled Wood by a hostile Mirror pack, having only barely managed to escape. Melinoe danced the line of death for many days and nights, her sibling by her side. Melinoe is above all a survivor though, and pulled through her injuries and illness, coming back stronger than ever.

Once reunited the two have since been inseparable, they hunt together, fight together, and share the same small cavern tucked away inside the Labyrinth. They tell stories of having been close when they were very young, but time and the will of their clans forced them across the land and to far corners of Sornieth. Most of their days now are spent working together to better the home of our clan, digging out new caverns for newcomers, or trading stories with the other elders. The pair seem more than content to stay with us permanently; as we are more than content to let them. We have come to know them as The Shadowbound, as the two are as comfortable in the darkness as those born here.

Starswirl believes that it is not mistake the siblings were reunited in our shadowy home, by what power we know not, but regardless we are thankful.
