With swift steps and strong wings, it is Luka's duty to see words delivered, gifts received and worries eased.

Position As the clan's assigned courier, Luka spends most of his time away from home. It isn't easy travelling miles upon miles of unfamiliar territory, braving raging winds and stormy seas just to deliver letters and packages to friends and allies, but 'someone's gotta do it', as the green-winged Mirror says. Despite his constant complaints the Mirror is honored by how much faith and trust the clan puts in him to see words delivered. Luka takes his job seriously and with pride... Even if he doesn't say so himself. Personality Luka is, for lack of better words, highly irritable. It's surprising how easily annoyed the Mirror could become. Outsiders might mistake him for being apathetic or outright mean, especially due to the sarcasm that seems to line every sentence that leaves his mouth, but he is quite the opposite. His fellow dragons often describes Luka as an independent, caring and devoted individual, and that his irritability is like an odd charm you get used to. He denies it vehemently, often getting flustered when one points it out, but action speaks louder than words. And Luka definitely lets his actions do most of the talking. History As a hatchling Luka was accustomed to travelling as the clan he grew up in tended to move around quite a bit. They were always moving, never staying in the same land for long, so much so that he seemed to end up somewhere new every single day! But somewhere along the way he got lost... Well, 'lost'. Even as a young dragon the Mirror had a sense of independence, and because of all the travelling he's experienced he managed to find his way around until he ended up in the Tangled Woods - the last place where his clan had set up camp. But as luck would have it they were no where in sight. With no leads and no way to find home Luka wandered the Brambles until he came upon Niflheim. It was odd for the Mirror, to say the least, to be welcomed so warmly by strangers, but it was nice to find rest after searching for so long. It took some time for him to get used to sticking to one place, but he found it quite relaxing as opposed to walking and flying around all day. He ultimately just stayed as a permanent member of the clan, thankful for their acceptance, but his upbringing urged him back to unfamiliar soil once again. Sensing this, the Alpha appointed Luka as Niflheim's courier, one that the Mirror accepted with little resistance. Delivering letters and the like to different places gave him the chance to stretch his legs and spread his wings, and perhaps he'd chance upon his old clan someday... But whether or not he finds them again his loyalties now lie with Niflheim, and he couldn't be happier. Relations Luka's constant absence in the clan makes it hard to form relations, but he's managed to form a bond with the other two resident Mirrors in the clan; Sasha and Wolfric. The duo always try to get him to drop his duties and mess around with them, but Luka declines every time. The two are like brothers to him, but their shennanigans can be quite exhausting. The green-winged Mirror gets enough excitement from his travels, especially after The Alpha allied the clan with Mink, a large, intimidating Imperial who assists in Niflheim's deliveries. The Imperial's ship, The Black Fang, has aided Luka quite a bit, delivery and transportation-wise, and he appreciates the help. He has managed to form some sort of unspoken, mutual respect with the hardy leader. And then there's Milo, a pink Coatl who calls The Icewing Clan his home. The Mirror was smitten with him since he first laid his eyes on his fluffy coat, and after a few months of struggling and keeping his sass in check, he managed to get his feelings through. The day Milo accepted, and reciprocated, his feelings was the happiest day of his life. Now he makes an effort to go visit him every few days, even if he's exhausted from his duties. He won't admit it, but Luka absolutely loves the way Milo coddles him when he's feeling tired. |
