It's been thought for a long time that Vivecca was simply too much of a wild child to ever settle down in any one lair, any one place, and let herself be content with everyday life. She was as fickle as the pollen on the breeze, flying this way and that, always exploring, always up and about. For a while, no one even tried to pin her down. It was a moot point. Where was Vivecca? Who knew! Seen her lately? Pfft, seen her this month? Don't think so. Have you talked to her recently? Heh, I wish. Sometimes even spotting her among the trees and bushes she blended so well with was a rare treat to those who called her friend.
Of course, as with some of those who wander, eventually Vivecca found herself lost. A simple flight across the forest had turned into a trek across Flight territories, and where was she now? It seemed that only one dragon knew. And that was the poor coatl she had unceremoniously run into at frightening speeds as she burst from a wreath of bushes. That beaten path she thought she had found turned out to lead to thicker vegetation than she had ever seen, and beyond those gorgeously green bushes was Poppy. Being the exuberantly friendly dragon that he was, Poppy was more than happy to explain to his sudden acquaintance that she was in the Wind Flight, more specifically, right outside of a nestled little lair beneath the Twisting Crescendo! No wonder her flight had been cut short by the strongest winds she'd ever felt! Vivecca and Poppy went on to have a conversation lasting hours, about anything and everything! It wasn't until night started falling that Poppy invited the wildclaw back to his humble lair, where everyone in the clan hastily made her feel welcome. Once settled in for the night, the conversation continued well into the morning! And during that fire-lit chat, Vivecca started realizing that for the first time, her legs seemed happy to be still. Her wings weren't fighting to stay closed. Her heart seemed strangely...content. Looking into the fiery, orange eyes of this sweet coatl, Vivecca finally felt at home. And home is where she stayed. |
