Biography
Bio from Riisa, courtesy of L19BA thread:
Continuation via Clan Laegjarn:
Finding a place in the Forum of the Obscured Crescent was probably not what Wingsong had expected. Fortunately, his new clanmates, though prankish, proved to be good-spirited for the most part, and willing to hold back when necessary. (Some of them, oddly enough, even enjoy his puns.)
There was one older Fire dragon in the lair when Wingsong arrived, and he thought his dream of being an ambassador had ended, only to realise that the other dragon, Cadunor, was much too busy doting over his mate and his forge to be an ambassador to anywhere.
It seems that Wingsong might have found a home where he can make the life he dreamed of...
Wingsong
Wingsong comes from a long line of magnificent Fire dragons. There was opposition to his intention to train at an academy in the Shifting Expanse, but he was convincing in his desire to be the best, not just for himself, but as an ambassador of Fire. He held tight to that conviction through his tough days as a student, with the thought that he might join a clan as a Fire representative and do himself--and his family--proud. His parents never doubted that part, though they do wish he'd come home to visit every once in a while.

Notable for his inability to understand the jokes of others, though he has an inexhaustible supply of fire puns that embarrass everyone thoroughly. There were times when he did understand jokes, at least when they were ill-spirited jokes made at his expense, but he found early on that pretending to be oblivious helped him forge self-esteem that depended on no one else. (Pun his, and intentional.) Trained long and hard to be a Fire ambassador--and only the day before graduating realized he might join a clan with lots of other Fire dragons. With characteristic fortitude, he is determined to thrive no matter where he goes. |
