"What should we name this one?" Titania mused, watching as Morgana sniffed curiously at her tiny new sister. This hatchling was darker than Morgana, a deep navy blue, but with the same rose-colored wings as both her parents. Titania wondered if rose wings was just going to be a trait of her line now, or if Creamcake's magenta wings would carry through to her granddaughter.

"Something to go with Morgana's name," Prettyboy interjected from where he was lounging sleepily at the edge of the nesting grounds, one eye ever fixed upon Morgana. "Morgan perhaps, or Morgain."

"Mor . . . no!" Morgana snapped, once she realized the implication. "Morgana is my name, not hers!"

"Something similar though," Prettyboy quantified, suddenly awake now that Morgana had taken an interest in the conversation.

"I don't want her name to be the same as mine!" Morgana snapped, glaring reproachfully at her Guardian.

Prettyboy raised himself off the ground slightly and inclined his head. "Something to compliment your name, my dear."

"She's not the same as me!" Morgana insisted. "She should have a different name."

"Of course, of course," Prettyboy ducked his head even lower, completely unable to stand against Morgana's hatchling anger.

Titania rolled her eyes. It was somewhere between comical and oddly satisfying to watching such an enormous dragon bend to her daughter's will.

"What about a name that only starts the same as yours?" Titania suggested, nuzzling behind one of Morgana's fins to calm her. "To show that she began he same as you, but will grow to be her own dragon, in the future."

Morgan thought for a moment. "That sounds . . . alright," she admitted grudgingly, and Prettyboy visibly relaxed.

"Morgause!" said SirFuzzyboots excitedly.

All four of them, including the hatchling, turned to stare at him in surprise. He was grinning broadly, practically vibrating with delight, and Titania couldn't help but feel warm and pleasant inside as she took off from the ground near the nest and swooped over to her mate.

"Where'd you come up with that?" Morgana asked, looking from her sire to her sister and back again.

"When you said Mor-no!" said SirFuzzyboots answered excitedly as TItania nested herself in his mane. "It sounded nice, but sort of not-finished, so I tried to think of something pretty that rhymed."

"It's perfect," pronounced Titania, shooting a look at Morgana that dared her to disagree.

"I wasn't going to say anything," Morgana lied, turning haughtily away from her mother to nuzzle Morgause's tiny fins. "I came up with it, after all."
