The Chaos-Bringer

Somewhere within Delphi's borders, someone sows seeds of violence, unease, and destruction. The telling marks of this dragon--this thing that may be a dragon, which must be a dragon, surely--are seen in many places where such things rear their heads or things simply...go awry. The glimmering seepage of its body, blood or spittle no one seems certain, is often found in these places, almost as if the residue of discord itself. An awful substance both dark and bright. Dragons are advised not to touch it; the side effects have varied, sometimes violently.

The Rulings and Ethics Council has called for its capture or killing for as long as signs of it have plagued the clan, but always, when they think the noose has closed, they find it empty except for that foul slime, stinking of the black places between stars. There are rumors that in truth one of them aids this thing--this dragon, surely, for what else would it be?--in staying hidden, but they are no lovers of chaos. It unravels their control from out of their claws to a one. Their calls for its blood are in earnest as little else they do remains.

But even the void has its admirers. And even the Shade was once invited in.
