... Following the little light was a mistake.
Your crop feels like it's trying to turn itself inside out.

A familiar looking ball - no, pearl, still a pearl, even if - is rocking slightly back and forth in the entrance to the cave, a tiny beam of light from somewhere deeper in the cavern reflecting off its opalescent swirls of rose and green. You can see a faint, glistening sheen on the rock it rolls against, the places where it's been rubbing back and forth against the stone for gods only know how long.

You see no sign of... (his? her?) their larger part, either live or dead.
Probably dead. You just don't want to think about it too much.

Specializes in magic, rather than technology - where Taranau tries to learn the secrets of conversion between flights, Amadan is certain that one can master them all. He has some ties to the Arcane flight which seem just a little too dangerous for most of the clan's comfort, but he's otherwise well-liked for his genial nature and quickness to offer a helping hand. Granted, said hand is usually a little less physical and more mystical, but hey, any port in a storm - right?

Amadan is another wanderer from afar - although he was clutched in the usual way, his parents noticed some... odd tendencies in him. Not wise beyond his years, exactly, just... having ideas about things he shouldn't even know about at so tender an age, like his utter conviction that he should be able to summon fireballs from nowhere, and that his wings were only dyed green because he's actually albino.

No matter, he's found his place now.

He and Taranau seem to have an uncommon level of understanding, almost as if they knew each other in some other place, or some other time...
