Keeps Spirit

Ephesus was finally able to bind Spirit after months of observation, planning, and a dash of luck. BlumenKonigin had agreed to have Ephesus constantly shadow her in the off chance that he could quickly perform a binding ritual and stop the entity from sapping her energy. During a routine visit to the Innovation Labs, Konigin fell ill, almost falling into a dangerous magical prototype. Ephesus acted quickly, casting binding circles and erecting a barrier around himself and the entity, trapping them together. BlumenKonigin was taken to Medical for recovery as Ephesus engaged in the most difficult confrontation of his life.

It took two weeks of mental and magical battle with the entity before Ephesus was able to bind them together, stoppering Spirit's energy drain on BlumenKonigin and taking charge of Spirit's ability to move through the physical world. Only by dent of his knowledge and experience was Ephesus able to contain Spirit's power.

Ephesus has much less energy than before the keeping ceremony, but he continues to provide valuable aide and advice to other Keepers and works closely with Researchers in the Magic Quarters.
