This former Celestial is a hulking giant who was banished for attempting to swallow the moon whole. Bakunawa's hunger is insatiable, so he must resort to swallowing clouds and fragments of the sky in an attempt to placate himself. It is said that the twinkle of his scales is from the stars and sky that he consumes. Bakunawa is calmed by the sound of harp music, and it puts him to sleep most of the time. He takes incredibly long naps, even for years if he is especially tired out. Bakunawa can be incredibly possessive of things, such as dragons he is fond of or simple baubles that suit his eye. He is very ignorant in the ways of the modern world, easily impressed by even simple forms of technology.
