"Heyo author here. Feel free to redo the encounter if you have another personality in mind; I just chose this one because of our defeat in Ice vs. Plague. Crieswarden signing out."

It's another bustling day at the Auction House, where you've come to barter off some of your goods. As you walk along a narrow dirt road, you hear sniffling coming from behind a nearby stand. Curiosity piqued, you walk somewhat cautiously toward the noise. A light blue and very sparkly nocturne looks up at you pitifully, tears streaming down her face. You notice that she wears a tag around her neck denoting that she is one of the dragons available for trade here.

"It won't come out," she sobs brokenly in a raspy, high-pitched voice, pointing at the tag. "No matter how much I try..." You are about to object that it is not supposed to come off until she finds a clan to live with, but she continues, "I've already found a clan but it still won't come out." Oh.

You decide to step forward and try to help her. But when you're about to crouch down, the nocturne suddenly breaks out into a violent coughing fit. Body writhing, she grasps at the tag, tearing at it, at the broken strings that were supposed to be holding up the tag. Then what...?

You finally see it. The area of the nocturne's neck where the tag is glowing a sickly red and disgusting green, alternately. With each color change, the nocturne cries out, coughing out large globs of pus, blood, and green ooze. With each color change, the glowing area expands just a hair's breadth. But the fit continues on and on, and all you can do is stare helplessly, frozen in horror.

Finally, the fit ends. The nocturne looks up at you and whispers a barely audible sentence, "It won't come out..." She continues sobbing, and you walk away in a daze, unsure about what you should've done to help her; or done nothing at all.
