Eldest dragon in the clan, has gone completely blind due to his old age. His caretakers are his two remaining children.

Mirage's name states exactly how his personality is, whilst you'd expect an old timer like himself to not move as quick as lets say, a young spiral, your expectations would be most definitely wrong. While Mirage might not be as quick as he was back in his younger years due to his blindness but, he's still pretty darn quick. Now that he's older however, he's taking things slow, he even for a moment settled down with a nice Bogsneak and had a nest of three hatchlings, two girls and a boy.

Now that Mirage is older, as much as he despises admitting it, he needs to have caretakers that follow him around and make sure he doesn't break something jumping through the ice fields, or to make sure he doesn't end up trapped under the ice. His old caretaker was the clans current Witch Doctors rival, Magic.

When Starwind first suggested for Mirage to get a "caretaker" Mirage laughed at his suggestion. But, as time slowly progressed, Mirage found himself beginning to become a lot slower than what he used to be. He was no longer able to keep up with his son, Mochi, and daughter, Anko. Not only was he unable to keep up with his children, but his vision was beginning to fade as well and he knew at that moment, that retirement was not all the much farther away. He grew bitter at this fact, knowing that sooner or later, more so sooner, he'd need to find a "caretaker" to help him make his way around the clan.

One day, when he had awoken from his slumber, he had found that his vision was even worse than when he went to bed. Much to his dismay, he knew that this would be his last day of probably ever being able to see, knowing this fact, he asked Starwind and Daydream for a caretaker to help him survive. Knowing that this day would come soon, Daydream and Starwind set aside Magic, Midnights rival, for his caretaker, knowing that she knows all the things a full grown tundra male will need, and she'll know what to do if something bad happens while they're out on the ice.

Mirage and Magic got along quite nicely, so nicely that Mirage actually decided to let Magic start sleeping in his den with him during the night. Many rumored that they were secretly in love with one another. Mirage denied all claims, stating that Magic was his caretaker and friend, nothing more. This caused a HUGE argument between Magic and Mirage. Magic assumed that her and Mirage were only growing closer because they were going to become mates. Mirage quickly denied her assumption stating, "I'm too old for love now. I'm all out of love to give, the last remaining bit of love I have left will go to my remaining children, Anko and Mochi." Tears were shed between the two, and needless to say, the next day, Mirage requested a new caretaker. His new caretakers, actually ended up becoming his children. Mirage was happy about the fact his children would be his new caretakers, seeing as they would never grow romantic feelings for him, and he's known them all their young lives.
