Olenite refused to take a new name when she came to the clan, along with her companion CCO. "This is what I was given before, and I am still that dragon, even if the rest of you have taken new names," she said. "But if you will have me, I would like to stay."

MistSong welcomed her of course "I would not be the dragon I wish if I forced every custom onto all of my family," she said. "Welcome, for as long as you do no harm and wish to stay."

Since then, Olenite has barely made any more friends than CCO, though she does spend a lot of time around HazeGlider. She did make it her project to start mapping the area around their lair, and planning where to put beacons that they could use to guide their scouts on particularly stormy nights, and to act as warnings in case disaster strikes.

She isn't completely sure, but CoastWing seems wary of her projects, though MistSong strongly encourages her. DappleFang was also wary, but still helped her to improve the beacon designs so that enemies might gloss over them or be confused by them. The other Spiral's attitude weighs on her, though she knows it shouldn't matter that much.
