Vrinde is the only daughter of the union of Syrno and Lotineve to reside in the clan. In fact, her and her brother were the first Coatls born into the clan long, long ago. As such, the two have always been permanent fixtures, although they have taken on more "sidelines" roles in comparison to a lot of their half siblings. Vrinde in particular has always held an important, but not always acknowledged role.

Vrinde has been a member of the Alchemy Crew since the beginning, working hard with a lot of the founding members like Sarione, Thina, and Lexa. In particular, Vrinde has always been in charge of unstable or "radioactive" substances related to alchemy, and how in turn to stabilize them. Every time there's a problem with a transmutation, she is always called upon to fix it. She's always enjoyed her job, and many a young alchemist have been glad to have her calm presence around when things go wrong with their first experiments.

She's only mated twice to date. The first was to Hectzen before he went on to serve the Arcanist,
and only recently has she taken in Murasaki as her new mate. She is very fond of her daughter Ravinna, since she ended up residing in the clan. Vrinde is also fearful for her though, since she is the Voice of the Arcanist, and for what happened during the Shade's attack.
