Moneta is a talented mage, and in many ways much like her parents. She inherited her mother's refined demeanor, love of nature, and assertiveness. From her father, she got her love of books, learning, and quiet.

She was born in the Gladeveins on one of her mother's visits home, but was raised in the clan's old home in the valley on the edge of the Crystalspines. As a Nature dragon, she never felt quite right trying to do Arcane magic, but Nature magic never quite seemed to come easily to her either.

One day, frustrated after another day training with Boreas, she went for a walk in the Starwood Strand. Her gem was almost humming from the power she felt, so she decided to practice a bit in here. The plants and trees around her reacted amazingly to her spells, growing and twisting into fantastic shapes.

Excited, she flew back to show Boreas. Grabbing the small potted plants she was practicing on earlier, she started to cast a spell to make it grow. And grow it did, but as it grew it darkened and crystaline flecks appeared on it. Once it was fully grown, they blossomed into the familiar flowers of the Strand. Boreas was shocked, never having seen anything like this.
