Biography

Meticulous | Driven | Inventive

Autumn is the Clan's harvest witch. In the frozen south, little grows and only the hardiest plants tend to survive on their own. This Light-borne nocturne, however, has found a way to supply the Clan with plenty of plant based food, herbs, and fodder in a great variety in spite of the lair's harsh location. Working on the cusp of winter, it is the strange Light-magics Autumn brings to the table that allow the Clan to subsist even during the most frigid of seasons.

The nocturne is easily as well respected by the Clan as any hatchling trainer or war leader though she has never seen a battlefield in her life. Her practices sustain the Clan, but she does not do it alone. Beneath her tutelage, Autumn has several apprentices, creating a small coven of dragons within the Clan that know her secrets to growing every type of plant from all over Sornieth in a place that doesn't necessarily make it easy. Because of this, she is very strict with her apprentices. To prepare everything properly for the harvest, everything must be 'just so' and she has no problem with harsh reprimands.

Autumn is often found flittering into and out of her Clan's magically warded fields of fruits, berries, herbs, and other plants, constantly checking on their conditions and fixing them if they are beginning to wither. Nearly constantly in tow is her most valued apprentice, the young harvest witch Equinox, who has discovered with Autumn's help how to create magically sustained green-houses out of her own Ice magic. The nocturne is constantly driven to make her job easier and more efficient as well as increase yield of the Clan's crops for trading and use. Many in the Clan feel that if not for Autumn and her coven that their relations with the nearby clan of centaurs would be non-existent, for without the lucrative trade agreement between their clans, they would be at war.
