The mix colors of Lemon and Goldenrod of Rysking's tough skin makes him one of the least stealthy of the entire clan. In this aspect, Rysking finds himself discovering new ways to be threatening. One giant (pun intended) advantage in this plan is that Garon's son happens to be one of the largest Guardians, or even dragons for that matter, in the group. Other than the Imperials, whom Rysking despises, his large size makes him "superior" and more than capable to take over the ragtag team when Garon and Fera decide to step down from their leader statuses. Only problem is... Garon wants Buzzear to gain the "throne" so to speak. Rysking has authority issues, anger consumes him easily, and shadows threaten his mind. And those shadows whisper. Dark things... He visits Quentin often, discussing secrets and plots that Quentin dare not speak of to anyone else... Even Bilo, who eventually "outlived" his usefulness. The only dragon who can sense something is wrong is also one of Rysking's greatest threats in the clan: Sable. When the found water egg hatchling went to Quentin for a color change, Sable gained a sixth sense. And now she can sense whatever happened to Rysking the moment they entered the Shadowbinder's realm, and found a new home in Wispwillow Grove. |

Rysking finds himself, more often than not, in the company of Byter and Houdini. (Fun fact, Rysking is the only dragon in the clan that Byter refuses to bite.) The three spend most of their time either in the Forum of the Obscured Crescent or even trying to pick fights with other clans in the local area. Despite the distain from the rest of the clan. When they arrived in the Carrion Canyon, Rysking was then seen with Quentin. All the other dragons are now curious as to the whereabouts of Graity and Bilo, who were the ones most often with or around the scientist. More questions arise... Dragons have come and gone, each one fearing Rysking and his allies. They have been threatened, and the dragons that have been in the tribe far longer are fearing Rysking's transformations.
