S hi-iru is the clan's "favorite girl," based on a joke survey passed around by her daughter. She is attentive, helpful, strong, and boisterous. Her brother is one of the esteemed clan leaders -- Shikash.
Her actual residence was actually in the Great Furnace, deep in the volcano of the Fire realm. She lived with her mother, who is too old to move to her brother's far-away clan, but she came to visit him in three-month intervals. Her job in the Furnace was to craft all sorts of metal goods: Pots, pans, silverware (For the more distinguished and opposable-thumbed dragon) weapons, and armor. She was - and still is - extremely skilled with making weapons and armor that is as protective as it is intimidating, going so far as to craft pieces with built-in furnaces and flame vents for both style and intimidation. Her work occupied most of her time, but as time passed, juggling it and family life has become more and more difficult. | __ |

D uring her first visit she met her life-mate Okado. Her mate was already fairly old when she pledged herself to him, and he had needed constant assistance with his mental state when he could be considered "young". The timid Skydancer was already incredibly high maintenance even before his body began to weaken! When they had their clutch, it was clear that she wouldn't be able to keep up with her work and her family, what with the two things being across the world. So she and her mother carefully (very carefully, as the elderly Pearlcatcher had only grown more fragile) moved over to Clan Suntalon permanently.
She watched dutifully as her babies grew and eventually left for bigger and better things. |
