Singer
Hitman|Thief Protégé of Garrino Focused|Stealthy|Confident Singer was born on the very edge of The Tangled Wood, so close to the Sea of A Thousand Currents that he could have been born a water dragon. Despite his proximity to the Sea, Singer was born with purple eyes, and inherited the traits of the Shadow flight. He can merge with the shadows, be silent as a mouse, and sneak around like a ferret. Being born so close to the Sea wasn't without it's benefits, though, and over time Singer's affinity for water helped him learn to hold his breath for a very long time. With magic supplementation, he has the ability to go hours without breathing. Additionally, Singer is a fantastic swimmer, even rivalling the skill of many Water-born dragons. His appearance is natural camouflage in the Sea; his body mimics the water around it, reflecting light just the same as the water itself, and he blends with the dark seafloor of deeper areas. Maren aren't the only dangers you need to watch out for in the sea. The true stealth that Singer achieves, both on land and in water, allows him to accomplish the tasks his job calls for. Spying, stealing, even killing: these are examples of the dark tasks Singer does in order to make a living. He knows that his job causes suffering for others, but he doesn't particularly care, though that's not to say he's particularly mean. He's actually rather polite to anyone that isn't a target, or if you prove yourself to be an enemy. Singer has many job titles, but he prefers to go by just one: Thief. He counts all his tasks as a theft of some sort: theft of goods, theft of life, theft of information, theft of happiness. He knows what he does is terrible, but he's very confident of himself. He doesn't try to fool himself into thinking that what he does could even be considered survival; he knows he could make money in other ways, and in no way is this job safe. He's sure of himself and sure of his job. He himself isn't very hateful, but he doesn't oppose to causing dragons to hate others. Hate is his job security; as long as there's hate in the world, there'll be someone to kill, someone to steal from, someone to cause harm to. |
