Mothwind

Mothwind is known for being kind and friendly towards strangers, and terrifyingly cruel to enemies. Some say she tore the head clean off a GaleClan scout once. With that in mind, it's not too surprising that she chose to save the starving rogue that had been getting closer and closer to StormClan's camp. Flip stuck out like a broken wing among the dragons of StormClan, with his white and pink scales, but he knew how to act the part. Mothwind was relieved when he was officially granted a Clan name; she'd become quite fond of the former rogue, and having to part with him would be difficult.

The two have had one clutch of eggs together, but only one survived long enough to hatch, and Beetleflight was called to serve the Shadowbinder while still at a young age. When talk arose of a young hatchling possibly joining StormClan from ParadoxClan, Mothwind was one of the first to volunteer. The fact that the hatchling, Sleepwalk, was joining because she had made friends with Heatherstrike made it all the better--Heatherstrike was the adopted daughter of Mothwind's friend Lightningscar and her mate Nightsnarl.

Mothwind was prepared to fight tooth and hooked claw to let Sleepwalk keep her name, but as it turned out, Fernmoon was perfectly amenable with the idea--it did, by all accounts, fit with the naming scheme traditionally used by the Clans. It was unconventional, perhaps, but well within the rules.
Sleepwalk, naturally, was ecstatic.


Thus far, Wildmoon has not taken issue with Sleepwalk's presence in the Clan. Mothwind is prepared to fight as hard as she needs to if Wildmoon changes her mind.
