B I O G R A P H Y

the parents waited patiently for their egg to hatch. The egg rocked once, then twice, a cracked appeared, the father leaned over the egg, waiting, but the mother pulled him back. " be patient my love. the egg will hatch in time. just wait" she whispered. he looked at her and nodded. "yes dear" he sat back next to her and continued watching the nest. the egg rocked again, the crack getting longer with every push of the hatchling inside. The parents held their breath, when suddenly the egg gave on last rock and a huge crack! The hatchling sprawled in the nest. with half the egg shell on its head. The father immediately went over to the baby and nuzzled her gently. he looked back at his mate " its a girl" he said happily. She smiled, 'we always wanted a daughter' she said. He turned back to the baby and proceeded to remove the piece of egg from her head, when he did though, he got a surprise. Between her bight yellow eye, in the center of her for head was the sigh of the light weaver. a dreamweaver. he jump back in surprise. A dreamweaver! but they are legends! he turned back to his mate and saw the same symbol above her head too. he step back from her as well and started to shake in fear. when she said" fear not my love. For i will not harm u. i'm the teller of tales and the weaver of dreams. hush now my love and let ur fears go." The fear left him. His love for her won out and he stop shaking. once the fear was gone he looked at her again and still saw the same lovely female wildclaw he fell in love with all those years ago. just revealing her true self for the first time. Then he spoke up" why didn't u tell me?", "would u have believed me if i did?" was all she asked. "no" came the response. "just do me a favor love?" "what my dear?", "tell noone about what i truly am. their not ready for it. and that goes the same with our daughter. they may kill us if they found out." He stared at her for a moment, eyes wide in shock but he saw she was telling the truth as well. so he nodded " yes i will keep ur secret. for u, for us and for our daughter." So they raised her as a normal wildclaw. keeping her and her mothers power a secret. for awhile at least.

A name that was only applied to dragons of legends. those who could control the dreams of others. by which they could help or destroy leaving their targets mindless.A name spoken in fear or awe, depending on the tale. tales where some come to help heroes or some other poor person in need and yet there are other tales. tales so dark their only told as a way to freighting children or told on the darkness night. Where these beings left nothing but a mindless body in their wake. and leaving no mark on their targets.t.

____But as they say. All legends have a foothold in truth somewhere even if its been long lost. so it is for the Weavers. So long lost they're only mentioned in legends and old folk tales. But they are very real. not so numerous as they once where but still here. Some follow the lightweaver. weaving pleasant dreams and healing the minds of others. but others work for the Shadowbinder. Giving dark dreams and nightmares to their targets. and yet their are others that follow no god who watch. they watch the world and help when needed. Ever watchful, ever vigilant. but always there.
