Sweet Honey

the official hatchnurse of the clan

Hatched in the realm of the Arcanist, Honey spent her early life looking at the stars with rapt wonder. Every twinkle from the myriad of lights far above her head sent a pang of wonder and joy straight to her heart. Though not as colorful as a few of her siblings, she was at least blessed to not be born with grey or black in her feathering. This meant she wasn't treated like a disease, and she had a comfortable life under the stars in the Arcanist's land. She watched siblings leave to parts unknown, and accompanied them as far as she could on a few voyages to the Arcanist. Her parents, ever comforting and supportive, were a driving force in her desire for more.

Finally, after living in her home land her entire life, she found herself wondering what the outside world was like. Her travels brought her to the Everbloom Gardens where she found a small clan full of colorful dragons and bright, golden flowers. In very little time she had carved out a home for herself in the EchoFlower clan, learning their customs and their ways with an ease that startled her and the dragons around her. So easily did she settle in that the clan thought she must have been there all along. The ease with which she settles into routines is her greatest asset and will do her well in her future clans.

Honey is a sweet, helpful girl who loves being around other dragons. She gets along well with most of them, although other coatls and skydancers seem to be the easiest for her to communicate with. She has been nearly officially crowned as the Official Hatchnurse by the entire clan. Her affinity with hatchlings is extraordinary. There is little she loves more than a new clutch of babies to watch over and coo about.

Her attention to the well-being of hatchlings caught the eye of Reese, the only skydancer in the clan at the time. He found Honey charming and irresistible, and their courtship eventually turned into a long-term partnership. As mates, they are the couple that other dragons dream to be. They adore each other, and their shared interest in family life brings them closer with every clutch hatched.
