Risto--mysterious, clever, beautiful and incredibly awkward in the company of others. The victim of a hatchling prank in the Donquixote Library that transformed and stretched him into a spiral dragon, Risto is still inelegant and clumsy in his lanky spiral body--and his personality matches. Risto stumbles over his words as they pour fast and difficult from his lips in attempts to convey large amounts of information and several long words in short amounts of time; precious time, he insists, preferring to spend his life in the pursuit of knowledge, arcane power and tending to his magically preserved rose garden.

To an outsider who saw him in a brief moment of repose, Risto would seem like a gorgeous statue amid his roses, untouchable and beautiful. Until he fell over his own tail, that is.
