Sage hailed from deep within the Starwood Strand. When the clan's scouts first found him, he was stumbling out in a daze. Many assumed he had gotten himself lost within the depths of the magical forest. No matter how much they pried, he never told them why he entered the fabled maze of trees in the first place. It took him several weeks to settle into the routine of the clan. He was constantly curious of how things operated, especially when it concerned the more magical members of Clan Stellae. Sage always felt a strong pull towards magic, yet has never exhibited control over any powers of his own. Consequently, when it came time for him to pick a profession in the clan, he chose to help gather supplies.

Often, he tries to finish his work each day as early as he can. Once he has some free time, he can typically be found at the heels of Celaeno, watching him perform magical spells and exercises. He also enjoys the company of Embyrs, his mate, who possesses a strong magical gift (though because of her shadow heritage, she can't help him with his own magic).
