Spending all his life admiring the strange feelings called love, he vowed to force himself into the business somehow.

Anteros, being an only child, didn't exactly feel love or accompaniment in the way others did. His parents were usually busy and he spent long nights by himself with a feeling of neglect. Of course he was aware he was loved, there was no doubt in that, but in some ways he felt he couldn't return it.

He was simply a bystander to others, watching over them and envying the things they felt that he just couldn't. There was no way to explain it, no way he could understand it himself.

As he has held curiosity, his standards were raised rather high in regard for any type of mate. The clans he visited didn't promise much in the way for himself, though he seemed to set up a few couples along the way. Thus, he began to claim himself as a matchmaker, enjoying the sound of it and the way it caught on.


During his time away, he caught word that his father had passed on. Just as quickly as his flame for love ignited, it distinguished. He felt like an empty husk of a coatl, rather upset by any sign of enjoyment or much else in relation. Wearily, he stopped by his original clan to comfort his mother before disappearing shortly again, off to somewhere with better memories.


Intrigued by a certain leader that didn't seem to hold much compassion for anyone, he decided to rest in the clan for the night. After seeing some of the coupled dragons, he started to have a bit of hope in love again. Although it wasn't too much, he still held the scars of his father's passing with him. He decided to stay a while much to the leader's dismay on his attitude. Perhaps he could find his mate here?

Eventually, he did, in a female imperial named Luna he met on the council.
