aestas, who goes by aes,
previously had a role in the clan
as a scavenger, before her mother
became queen. she was young and
brave, as well as a skilled pilot. one day,
she left for a trip down to the icefields to
gather materials. she didn't come back.
madia anxiously awaited her return
every day, but eventually lost hope.

two years later, madia sent out
sirocco, a scavenger with large
ambitions and a good sense of
direction, to find her missing
daughter. it took months, but the
expedition was semi-successful, if
both parties returning confused,
unrecognizable, with hardly any
memory of the clan, counts as
a success.
 		aes is still a bit too overconfident,
leading her to make poor
decisions, even under the close
watch of madia. she is rather cold,
hostile, and distant, making it
hard for most dragons to get
through to her. however, she has
a soft spot for sirocco and her son,
lahore. she is also open with
her mother, despite not having
much memory of being raised by
her.
