Xibalba Vain + Overconfident + Dense "Memory is like death. Fools refuse to learn from history, but history is not the past, merely a story, the lens through which Sornieth attempts to scry its past." Scrying is something Xibalba can do very, very well. He is driven to learn the truth of the world, digging up its bones. Gosh, he loves bones; they are much more honest than books or scrolls or living dragons. He is the LORD OF THE UNDERWORLD! He commands respect, and someday, he will command the dead as well! Xibalba has a sense for these things, he can taste the currents of magic in the air around him, the ashen presence of lingering ghosts, the bitter tang of memory dwelling in the land underclaw! He doesn't have any magical powers beyond these senses and divinations, but hey, KNOWLEDGE IS POWER right?! Vain, uncompromising, overconfident, and often dense. He insists on being referred to in all caps, he talks over others, is quick to anger when disagreed with, and although he craves power he avoids any responsibility associated with it. Xibalba also thinks he would look terribly grand in a billowing cape. Ever since he settled in the Chiroptera Cult, Xibalba has been considered a pain by pretty much every Cultist. Though Nightshade lets him stay because he's never broken any of her asinine rules, he knows he's not welcome here. But Xibalba doesn't care; he wants to stay and use the Cult's influence and might to become stronger. Staying in his cave all day long doing probably nefarious things, he sends the two Ridgeback brothers he took under his wing to manipulate better on errands to get him what he needs. Xas and Nyrek are gullible souls he knew he would be able to take advantage of as soon as he had seen them set foot into the Cult's Lair, and Xibalba had always used their need to feel validated to make them do his dirty work. But with the arrival of Ketsueki in the Cult, Xibalba has been feeling his grasp on the brothers slip, and he doesn't like that at all... Items:
