Valkrye started as the prodigy of the Clan leaders Kiril and Carrick, as being their daughter, she would take up the Clan and lead it when they grew too old and weak. She had a strong mate to give her children for the next generation, and everything was set. However, though her fire burned strong and her stubborn will pulled the respect of the Clan to her, it dimmed the moment Siani came into the Clan. Instead, she became nervous, wanting nothing more than to be next to this Imperial who's gentle words could calm her in an instant. She came to her father about her concerns, and the gentle Carrick told her the truth; Valkrye had fallen in love with her charge. Valkrye, who had accepted herself completely, also took this as a simple fact. Her emotions made sense with that explanation, and so she fought to control them, and to swoon Siani.

The next imperial in the Clan was Jaeger, and she was confused when she felt pulled towards him. Not nearly as much as she had been to Siani, but it was still there. And again, when the third Imperial, Lakila, entered. She is still trying to find out why.
