Susurrus

An egg that Davion found while fleeing his old clan, which he claims was gifted to him by the Flamecaller herself. There may be some truth to this claim as the hatchling was born with the ability to conjure and shape flame as only trained mages can.
Susurrus is reckless young dragon who idolizes her foster family. She admires Alexio especially for his fierce cunning and courage. Susurrus struggles with anxiety but loathes her nervous nature and overcompensates for what she sees as a character fault by acting like a foolhardy daredevil. She enjoys conflicts and challenges, though they often spark her unstable temper which frequently leads to Susurrus lashing out at herself and those around her.
As an egg she was poorly cared for during her family's flight and by the time she hatched egg rot, though all but eliminated in settled clans, had set in and eaten away at her limbs. Davion fashioned her metal prosthetics which her innate fire magic powers, and upon arriving at the crystal cave, Sergei improved upon the design immensely and built her supports for her withered wing muscles, allowing Susurrus to glide if she has the height.

One day, she will return to the home of her family and kill the monster who drove them out. When she does, only ashes will remain.
