Alphonse shoulders his guilt quietly, feeling indebted to his brother for saving his life. Despite Edward's beliefs, Alphonse knows that they are both responsible for their mistakes.

Kind and thoughtful, Alphonse is by far the more agreeable of the two brothers. Do not mistake his gentle nature for weakness, however; he is a stronger fighter than even Edward is.

Alphonse is selfless to a fault, always putting others before himself. He would do anything to protect his family - even if it means putting his life on the line.
