Biography

An adult from fluffeechan.
Quote:
Name: SpectrumScales
Dragon to Claim: Flesh and Rot
Candy: Diseased Fungus
Lore:
It's been a while since Flesh and Rot said anything past garbled grunts and moans. Her hide had thinned out to a web of veins, dull skin, and open wounds a long time ago, and no one seems to remember what her real name is. In fact, "Flesh and Rot" is a name given by those who first came across her scavenging in the wild, feasting on rotten bodies. She's more like an animal than a proper dragon, running on raw instinct, stumbling around abandoned battlefields and tearing at carcasses.

It's possible Flesh and Rot was someone else entirely before her current form. A few dragonfolk seem to recall distant memories of a different dragon. One who was quiet, bright, and an excellent survivor by Plague standards. However, she's so far removed from whoever her previous self was that it's probably not worth to try and remember her anymore. It's unclear what brought on this sort of physical and mental change in her, but it's certain that she'll probably never go back.

The only time Flesh and Rot seems like a semi-proper dragon is when she comes across fungi. She really loves fungi, especially the particular strain of mushroom found in the Scarred Wasteland: the Diseased Fungus. When not behaving like a beast, she can be found carefully gathering them and cultivating them in rudimentary gardens. Flesh and Rot is a patient gardener, and fungi under her care grow like plagues themselves. In fact, she's breathed in so many spores from her favorite mushrooms that they've taken root in her body and have begun sprouting out of her hide. (Actually my RoR skin submission is based on her http://www1.flightrising.com/forums/skin/1598233/32#post_14772188). It's unclear what the side affects of having a mushroom hide are, but she couldn't be happier with her parasitic shroom friends.
