Fae are notorious for having difficulty with tones of voice. Half of them can't even understand accents different from the one they're used to, and determining or conveying emotion - forget it. Orchid is absolutely no exception to this. In fact, one could confidently say he's on the lower end of the skill spectrum.

Fortunately, he's figured a workaround to his problem: state what tone he's going for at the start of his sentence. Genius.

It seems to work for him, as ridiculous as it makes him sound. This is fortunate for him, because he's blatantly a casanova-wannabe, and the strangest thing is that he succeeds. Maybe it's his extravagant dances or the sparkle of his belly, or his overly romantic overtures (rose petals on a freshly-gathered bed of moss lit by the full moon? Par for the course!), or maybe it's just his blunt earnestness. Maybe he's good with his tongue. Who knows? Whatever it is, he has a long string of one night stands and their subsequent children behind him and shows no signs of stopping anytime soon.
