Rusty

You sigh with relief as you sink to your neck in the surprisingly cool water of the utterly improbable desert spring nestled in the northernmost corner of the Shifting Expanse. Feeling your muscles relax, you spare a thought for the matriarch of DoodlePi's clan, reflecting on all the work that must have gone into creating this incredible oasis - especially when you consider the fact that Togetic is a Fae dragon, which therefore means that the work had to have been exponentially more difficult given her diminutive size.
Moments after your eyes begin to slide shut of their own accord, the almost imperceptible ripples lapping against your skin lulling you to sleep, your eyes snap open again and you recoil from the sudden tsunami caused by a dual dragon cannonball. Wiping your now sopping wet face, you glare halfheartedly at the culprits before sighing in defeat as you quickly realize it is futile; the truth is you could never stay mad for long at the two identical sets of wide, light-blue eyes that have met your gaze so unwaveringly.
Magenta and Rusty (a.k.a. "The Twins") are a pair of Tundra dragons. They are brother and sister from a clutch of only two eggs, the firstlaid offspring of Tar the Tundra and Fossil the Skydancer. Despite looking almost nothing alike, it is nevertheless obvious that they are twins. Both of them have Speckle-flecked bodies with Stripes partway along their dark yellowish wings, but the similarities end there. Their respective primary colors match their own names, and while the thicker fur around Rusty's neck, head and tail are Gold, Magenta's is more Tangerine with a sort of Crackle effect that is also visible on the tips of her wings, yet absent from her brother's.
They have lost interest in you now and have taken to combing each other's thick coats with their impressive canines. It is heartwarming to see such a strong familial bond between these siblings, and you feel blessed to be witnessing this beautiful display of platonic affection.
