Merric
Hunter & Defender

Merric was a lucky one, his parents had let him go to a new and loving home. Luck had mostly dictated that most hatchlings grew up and went to the clan’s reigning deity, but he was lucky and had found himself a place within this new clan.

Merric was very adventurous and had a good standing within the clan, he was also a bit of a trouble maker. He had once accidently collapsed an entire nesting ground within the lair when he was messing with the structure. Everyone had been furious with him, and often time hissed or snapped when he walked by, soon enough they realised the place had been empty; and all forgave him instantly. Besides messing with the lair’s structure [which wasn’t an often occurrence], he loved to hunt. Being a Wildclaw, he was born with an innate ability for battle to kill and shred. However, in battle he could be rather reckless, when the thrill of the fight was in his veins; he often disregarded his own safety to win. He had a few small scars which he kept hidden under some clothes, but despite these small scars he was an accomplished hunter and defender of the clan.

Since the clan very well knew of his capability in battle, he was in charge of hunting meat for the clan members and himself that consumed living flesh. He was also a part time defender; if he saw any members of the beast clans or rival clan’s in their territory or around the lairs territory, he’d rush them and defend them with all his ferocity.

When Merric had grown into an adult, he found that he had wanted himself a mate. He knew many of the female dragons in the lair were chronically in love with him. He was dangerous, strong and beautiful. Despite this, he seem to find himself only gazing at one of them often, Cassandra. She was a stunning female, and very much reminded him of a type of flower he had only seen once. He had been heads over heels for her a while, and even got himself a few injuries [just minor ones] and complained that they had hurt so he could be in her nursing care for a while.

Eventually he had courted her and now they lived as happy and content mates.
