Biography

Arctora
Frigid Magician

Scholar | Spellcaster | Gatherer & Forager

This secretive, unpredictable wyrm often prefers solitude to the company of others. However, she does have a fascination with Ice Flight and its related magicks - any lairmate hailing from the Southern Icefields can expect to be cornered and bomboarded with questions pertaining to their home flight. This trait, combined with her 'zero to sixty' whiplashing personality, has not endeared her to many lairmates. Most will tolerate her questions politely, and then distance themselves. Matriarch Archangel - herself being a scholar with a desire for learning the secrets of an out-of-flight magic - saw something of herself in Arctora and welcomed the little Tundra into the lair despite her quirks.

When not questioning her Ice Flight clanmates, Arctora does keep very much to herself and will pore over her studies of Ice magicks. Being a Light dragon, it is difficult for her to deviate from her naturally allocated energies. However, with persistence, (and a lot of invasive interrogating of lairmates) she has been able to successfully cast lower-level Ice spells. She strongly prefers warding and defensive spells meant to confuse enemies or protect allies to those of the harsher offensive spells.

Something about Northmane's forthright attitude, in addition to his love of snowy, freezing weather, made Arctora's befriending of the guard inevitable. Arctora has taken to studying in the Imperial's presence while he watches over her quietly. The pair of them also contribute to the lair by escorting hunting and gathering parties outside the region. Northmane's strength and sheer size, combined with this sturdy little Tundra's talent for protective magicks, make them an ideal pair to bring along during more dangerous hunting excursions.
