Biography

Hamlet
—When Madness Creeps In—

For many years, Hamlet was an excellent leader and guiding force of his clan. Level-headed, clear and knowledgeable, he brought in an period of prosperity and peace. Now the years have begun to creep up on Hamlet. His once-reasonable moods now take unexpected swings, often turning dark and angry. Though he still makes beneficial decisions for the clan as a whole, in private Hamlet has taken to some questionable choices. He frequently mutters about spirits and monsters. His attention is quick to switch to seemingly unimportant things. Many times, Hamlet has been caught speaking to nothing, claiming that he was chatting with a ghost or some other invisible being no one but him can see. He is absolutely convinced that there are things he can see and refuses to be persuaded otherwise. However it comes as little surprise to him that others can't see what he does. Hamlet is positive everything will become clear, not just to him, but the entire clan as well, in due time.

• More than once, Hamlet has simply gotten up and walked away when someone was speaking to him, leaving others to smooth out the ruffled feathers.
• He is slowly becoming aware that others doubt his sanity and ability to lead. As frustrating as that is, he has not yet become paranoid.
• Hamlet was never much of an artist in his younger days. Now, he often sketches the spirits he sees in an attempt to help others realize his eyes are as good as ever.
• He is frequently cold and is almost always wearing heavy cloaks.
• He always has to have a midnight snack, otherwise he can't sleep for the rest of the night. Lately he's taken to having tea in the dead of night with his invisible visitors.
• Hamlet enjoys joining in on hunting parties though he rarely allows himself the indulgence.
