Witchery was born to two fearsome and respected parents, and she never quite forgot her birthright. From an early age she found an affinity for divination and sorcery. Her folkish traditions and lore were first subject to amusement and rolled eyes, but as her spells and prophecies proved true, young Witchery was met more with unease and a cautious respect. Muninn herself offered to take the young fae under her wing, but her own oracles are passive, the result of warnings and vague hints sent to her pearl from the exalted members of Aesalon’s clan. Witchery’s, meanwhile, rely on pointed questions sent into the void; they are a skilled art of which Muninn knows nothing, and so, finding boundaries between her and her student, she admitted to the fae that she could find no way to help her. Witchery has trained alone. She often gives counsel to those who ask for it, but she must be sought out and plied with bones or scraps of materials. She keeps to herself.Witchery found herself at a loss when faced with a lovestruck Capstan's wooing, but he charmed her and she gave him a shot. Capstan returned from his next journey with all the exotic herbs, skins, and bones Witchery could ever need. He courted her for nine nights with the most appealing rituals from nine different traditions. He impressed her thoroughly and then withdrew, waiting for her response. She gave it in the form of a handwritten book with all the rituals and traditions she had learned from her fellow folk mages, learned from countless dreaming liasons and gatherings during new moons. Charmed so that only he could read it, the book placed the highest trust in him and promised her hand.
