Redstar was born in the far Northern region of Dragonhome to an unknown family. Orphaned at a young age she learned to care for herself and grew to become a sneaky and stealthy scavenger. She learned not to pick fights and to avoid conflict at all costs; overall she valued her quick wit much more than her strength. As a loner she traveled a lot and eventually ended up in the Plaguebringer’s Scarred Wastelands where she felt as if she fit in. She decided to move their indefinitely as she had nowhere better to be.

To make it in the Scarred wasteland you need to be able to do much more than fight. Redstar embraced the surrounding contagion and immersed herself in it. The more she learned about the land the more she fell in love with it. Her scavenging skills came in good use as she was tested for survival at every turn. Despite her skill she accumulated may scars and her pelt began to mirror the surrounding wastelands.

Eventually Redstar came across a book about the teachings of the Plaguebringer. She greedily devoured it, wanting to know more and more about the Plaguebringer’s way of life. She sought out all she could from the sparse temples of the Scarred Wastleland and even traveled to the Wyrmwound as a form of pilgrimage. She became zealously involved and no longer had a realistic sense of the outside world.

To this day Redstar can be found near the Wyrmwound hoarding her tomes and many an artifact related to the Plaguebringer. If you ask her for her wisdom she will grant it to you on one condition; you must come into the shadow of the Wyrmwound with her and tell her what you see.
