Haru
Haru showed up one day as a hatchling: pink and shiny and perfect except for the distinctly underfed look to his young frame. He made it into the pool of prospects with steady persistence, but even when he was chosen as a student he referred to himself as lucky. He has never confided to anyone about his life before L19 Battle Academy, though his complex about food and his fear of punishment are eloquent on their own. Though many prospects are mentored by a student or professor of the same element, Haru was chosen by Headmaster Mirae herself, who secretly hopes that the fierce training Haru has committed himself to is, in part, motivated by a future hope of revenge. No one else sees any likelihood of that, not from serene Haru, but still waters run deep...

As another Glimmer dragon, Haru always looked up to Oscar, but he never said a word about it to anyone. After so many reprimands that it started to become farce, Haru was permitted under special dispensation from the professors to keep food in his living quarters. Once disappeared for a week during his student days, and was only kept on afterwards by the force of Mirae's belief in him. His return was also notable because he came back with another dragon, Aurelius, who became a prospect with Haru as his mentor. |

The newest member of Clan Canitis, Haru was was part of an exchange program- his previous clan was an ill fit, but Aruna felt he could make a place for himself in their own small lair.
Many difficulties emerged quickly as they discovered he was far from being social, and could most often be found sitting on the outskirts, watching with only the barest scent of sadness. He has found a place of comfort with Gwydion, and has a keen interest in the sciences although it does not come as naturally to him as with others.
