4th Tier: History and Culture

"The bones are clean, and it's traditional! Now hold still!"
Tint is most infamous for holding to the old ways of piercing a dragon's scales for the purpose of hanging jewellery from it: that is, by using the sharpened wing bones of small birds. Their bones were small enough not to create holes that were too wide, and their use hails from a time before metal smithing was common. Of course it's a procedure that is still not for the faint of heart, though he boils white every bone between every use to be as safe as possible.

Mate: Pigment. The two Spirals share a love of decorating bodies, merely in different ways. The love of their arts got them together, and their shared sleeping quarters are littered with ink stains.
