Is it really for the best?

After the clan’s move to the Sunbeam Ruins, following the vicious attack and blinding of Aleyris, Auric has been the de facto leader of Clan Lightblind. Given his upbringing in one of the noble clans of the Sunbeam Ruins, he is a natural fit for the role. With the help of Platina, they implemented the system of a ruling council to determine clan affairs.

Though few in the clan know it, Auric is an extremely melancholy dragon given to long bouts of depression. A great deal of his angst comes from the Coatl superstition about pale dragons, and the revulsion he sees on the faces of his breatheren. He strives to make Lightblind a safe and accepting haven for Coatls like himself.
