From the moment she was old enough to understand that her clan thought her mother crazy and her father invisible, Spethjasu knew that she would be leaving in search of some other adventure. She had no desire to spend her life as the odd hatchling of an odd family.

The time spent on her own hardened the young imperial and taught her to watch her own back, finish with her enemies before they could hurt her, and by the time she arrived at the Summer Squalls' lair on the Windswept Plateau, she knew little of friendship or trust.

Although she was not the only imperial in the clan, the young warrior spent very little time with Aster, Nephrite, or Dageraad and showed a distinct preference for the company of Miraval, despite the pair's natural rivalry. Although lair gossip speculated about Aster and Spethjasu, easily the second largest and largest dragons in the Squalls respectively, Aster seemed to care very little for the female's presence except when she brought him creatures captured on her excursions. Dageraad, similarly, disregarded the lone imperial and Spethjasu, already tattooed with the stars from some past adventure, never had cause to seek out Dageraad's services.

Nephrite, however, quickly developed a childish crush on the warrior female which was not reciprocated. Nothing the older drake could do attracted Spethjasu's attention.

During Spethjasu's first Brightshine Jubilee with the Squalls, Aster's numerous familiars escaped and wreaked havoc in the lair. Spethjasu and Nephrite both joined the hunt to recapture the creatures and during their hunt, Nephrite saved the dragoness' life from an undying featherback. In one unthinking moment, Nephrite had earned what he had been trying for months to claim: Spethjasu's attention.

The pair hatched their first nest a few weeks later. Many of their children train under Spethjasu to prepare them for the Windsinger's service. Among them all, Spethjasu is seen as the harsher parent, still learning softness and fun from their father, but she is not cruel or heartless for all that. And she is invaluable both to the Gale Force Militia where she serves under Miraval and to her mate.

Happy Holidays! I hope this dragon lives up to your expectation of Mire Flyer (and I especially hope this is what you wanted, I'm quite a noob when it comes to Coliseum builds). The accent that you received, Draconian Constellation, was picked for this dragon, but you don't have to use it for her :)
