Biography
Dreamfoil. I like that name. I'll keep it.
I wonder for how long I was out. Looking in the reflection on the water I'm captivated for a moment by the cold beauty of my body. I flick my tail and strut out my breast, turning my head this way and that as I watch in surprised fascination how the soft colour of my belly contrast nicely with the sharp markings and darker wings behind my head. I stretch my limps far and roar as I reconnect with the feeling of being physically present within myself. I stare a moment longer at my reflection. I really don't remember if I always looked like that, but I give myself a grin and wander off. I look good. What more could I ask for?
I don't mind the Maren beast following me around lately. I suppose he sort of looks like me, and we've already established I like my look, so I like looking at him too. At least I think he's a him, but it doesn't really matter. I've decided he is. I wonder if I should name him something too, but not sure. No names comes to mind, and anyway, beasties are no pets, no matter what other dragons assume. Maybe he already has a name, and I just don't know how to hear it. That doesn't matter either.
What matters is that he's helpful. He's gifted with the sight, I'm getting sure. He shouts out warnings in that strange language of his. Twice now I've avoided trouble because of him. He needs to be close to water, so we travel by streams, and that's alright. I don't know why he chose to follow me around, but I've been alone in forever... I didn't even realise I missed the company, until he tacked along.
