When he was but a small hatchling, Keidyn’s lair had been ransacked by a band of pirates. All the adults he had played with and met since he hatched were all missing. Confused and scared, the little ridgeback walked up to the mysterious visitors, unaware of what was going on. They stared back at him, stunned by his presence. Though one large multi-eyed menace peered down at him in wonder, as if he were a treasure to behold. He had been taken in as this Guardian’s Charge, protected, coddled, and trained to do a variety of questionable things. Because he had been pampered for the entirety of his existence, and grew up living the life of a corsair Keidyn never really learned about that ‘morality’ thing. He has no concept of modesty, sympathy, or ethics. To Keidyn, he’s the best thing since sliced bread. Everyone should love, respect, and give him whatever he wants. Only way to really deflate his ego is to beat him at his own game and shame him into a corner. No easy feat.
