She's frequently all up in someone else's bubble, and the look in those pale eyes hints at ulterior motives. She's up to something, she just HAS to be. That, or a certain someone's just a little embarrassed.

Certainly there are those who would criticize her work for being non-essential, vain, and outright wasteful. We call these critics "people who couldn't afford her services." She has no loyalty to any particular aesthetic, instead being flexible to the wants and whims of her clients. Want to make your new leg blend in with the Viridian Labyrinth? Can do. Trying to make it look like you're just wearing a gauntlet? Not a problem. Hoping for that stained glass motif? You bet your *** she can do it. As much as some might claim the service is shallow, Modlynne really just wants you to feel good about how you look. Everyone should be comfortable in their skin, even if it's metal or ceramic. While the cosmetic aspect of her work is still very important, Modlynne has found that Interlude's prostheses demands lean more toward the practical. Certainly a little lacquer and filigree will go unquestioned, but sometimes a comrade is just too busy trying to get properly-sized pieces working. While she misses the more leisurely pace of the Fairweather, Modlynne can still appreciate the importance of fitting the needy with prostheses. |
