tumblr_inline_niwpyp1yZg1t8garv.png Baron
The Patriarch x

A Tundra who's as fierce as he is gentle. Unlike most Tundra he doesn't hesistate to jump into battle, and he will do anything to protect his clan.

He constantly worries about his mate, since she travels often. Although he's used to it now the first few times Grove left he'd spend hours every day pacing back and forth at the entrance, waiting for her return.

Baron was raised in a clan that had only Tundras. He grew up in a secluded part of Shadow territory so he never had to deal with many outsiders or dangers. It wasn't until a close friend of his suggested the flight moved to more populated areas that he realized how dangerous the world could be. The friend who suggested the move was a close friend of his, he loved her a lot, and was one day going to ask her to be his mate. But that day never came, as she ended up sacrificing herself to save Baron. Before she died she told Baron to never blame himself for her death, and to keep moving forward.

Baron did just that. Being around his clan was nothing more than a constant reminder of his friend who died. So he left, taking her familiar with him, as he decided it was his job to help the poor creature who was still mourning her master's death. He came across Grove as she was building the territory for her future clan. And after constantly revisiting her he ended up falling in love with the weird Fae. They became mates and soon had children of their own. As their clan grew Grove would go away searching for new clan members, and meeting neighboring territories to be allies with. Meanwhile Baron would stay at home and keep everything in line as best he could. He spent most of his days with his children, but mainly with Isra who was his only Fae child. Although Isra and Baron spent most of their time together that didn't mean he favoured her more. He would never show favouritism when it came to his children. They just had a lot of the same interest.

As time went on and his children grew Duha and Dima started distancing themselves from Baron, wanting to hang out with their friends more and all. Baron understood that and was completely fine with it. Isra on the other was just downright different from the other two. She had no interest in making friends, acted as if she was superior to others, didn't seem to have much empathy, and had just a whole bunch of other weird problems. Some of these problems she had since she was a child so he never thought much of it, but as she grew he began to worry if something was wrong with her.

It turns out something was wrong with her. She was a psychopath. All though Baron and the other flight members showed her all the love in the world all the love she showed them was fake. Rubati was the one who figured it out, when an Imperial had somehow been resurected in The Tangled Woods Rubati did some digging and found out that Isra had used a forbidden spell to bring the Imps back to life. The clan angrily questioned her, but Isra only ran away in response. Isra blamed her mother for her failures, and was jealous of her nephew Jafar. So when the flight's guard was down she abducted them. Taking them to a hidden location. She was going to kill them if Baron didn't intervene. He immediately tracked her down, and seeing how she showed no remorse for her actions killed her, knowing there was no way he could save her.

Ever since then the clan hasn't been the same and Baron hasn't either. Killing one of his very own children has impacted him greatly. He blames himself for how Isra came out, and now suffers from delusions. It's not uncommon for him to have nightmares, or randomly see blood on his claws. He continues to lead the clan, and does a great job at doing so, but his heart his heavy, and he is weary.
