Discourse retrieved from ambassador visit during Earthshaker Ceremony...
Oh dear. A rather imposing-looking Guardian has followed Earth's gift-giver back home. He sizes the lair up in silence, looking from side to side in long, sweeping gestures...and cracks a smile. Gritty, but not gritted. He seems genuinely pleased.
"Evenin', folks. Name's Tanner. Nice place you got here, and awful kind of you to send over rations. I hear your deity's into protectin' the earth, and, well, so'm I."
He cuts himself off with a hacking cough--it sounds chronic, not contagious.
"Mining ruined my home. I was the last one outta the nest, and I got the scales an' scars an' slime to prove it. Me an' Blue here spend our time cleanin' up lairs that have been corroded by those slag-licked sons'a--pardon me, didn't mean to get salty." Tanner grins again. "One'a the better minerals, though.
Speakin' of, we're right pleased with your gesture and thought we'd return it. We found these beauties in the last lair we cleaned up. Blue, give 'em the goods, por favor."
At his gesture, a Granite Guardian--named Blue, apparently--lumbers forward and deposits a package with care almost ill-befitting his large frame.
"Real nice stuff in the plaguelands, you care to take the time to look for it. Careful now, some'a those are a little bitty radioactive."
Tanner ushers Blue back under his wing and waves a hindclaw as they turn to go.
"Have a real good festival, now!"
