Uki
Surgeon | Loves Blood | Smart | Strange

mate: N/A | PAIR RANGE

Uki is a female Imperial, from a clan in the Scarred Wasteland. She was bought into the clan as a young hatchling, and even then she started showing signs that she was truly a Plague dragon. While she’s not colored like a Plague dragon, aside from her eyes, she acts like one all the same. She’s extremely interested in life and death, and moreover—blood. She adores blood. The sight of it, the smell, the feel…and even the taste. Yet, despite this, she’s rather kind. Just a bit…strange.

As she grew up, she started getting into the medical field, really curious about how dragons worked, and about certain organ functions, bone placements—the works. Jay, being the clan’s Nature healer, decided to teach her what he knew, though she wasn’t looking for anything healing-wise. She was wanting to actually open up dragons, and be able to ‘sift’ around inside of them to figure out what the problem was. Despite her rather…macabre description, she ended up being a surgeon. She enjoys the sight of blood, but she learned to keep that pleasure aside, while performing surgery on dragons. …Though she has been known to giggle madly, as she rubs her bloodied fingers together…

When not performing surgery, or practicing on poor animals, Uki is often reading up on various texts to help her with her surgery even more. She even dabbles in a bit of butchery, when preparing meat for the clan to eat. She takes great pride (and pleasure) in sectioning off meat, and getting it off the bones cleanly. Her cut meats are very clean and proportionate, and in return for doing a good service, the blood is given to her do to whatever she wants. Once the blood is collected from the butchering, it’s never seen again, once Uki takes it into her den. No one knows what she does with it. …And no one really WANTS to know.

Despite her love for blood, Uki is rather gentle and kind. When it comes to performing surgery on dragons, she’s focused on saving their life, instead of ending it and taking their blood for herself. She does, in fact, care about the lives of the dragons in the clan, especially since most of them are understanding of her infatuation with blood. She’s even dabbling in a bit of blood magic, to try and help her even more with her surgery. To be able to ‘go inside’ of a dragon, without even opening them up. …However, she still needs quite a bit of practice with that. Many a hunt has ended with a poor animal exploding, because of her amateur blood magic spells.

Uki’s obsession with blood went too far one day, as she accepted a bribe from Plagueis. If she’d perform surgery on Nadiya, Plagueis’ previous mate, and take out a sliver of her heart, then she could get a vial of Nadiya’s blood, which was unique due to all of the chemicals Plagueis had pumped into her. She accepted the deal, and did perform the surgery. Nadiya survived, but because of the condition of her heart, she would never be able to dance again. When Plagueis was caught, Uki was ratted out. Realizing the horrible thing that she had done, Uki was ashamed of herself. She donned a hood and a mask, and swore never to take it off. No one would see her shameful face again. She too was punished, alongside Plagueis. She could only perform surgery under Jay’s watchful eye, and the majority of her blood collection was destroyed. Unlike Plagueis, Uki accepted her punishment with silence. Now, she rarely comes out of her den, still horribly ashamed at what she did.

Fivu's clan encourages her obsession with blood. They let her do what she wants, and now that she is with Plagueis, members of the clan often see them cutting up animals and sometimes other unfortunate dragons who wander too close to the clan's borders. Lector, as Plagueis' apprentice, is a new addition to their experiments, learning as much as he can.

Gijinka: Uki is a dark skinned female, with blue hair, cut into a bob. Her dark red eyes betray her love for blood. She also has bluish markings on her arms, legs, and neck. She often wears white clothes, or lab coats, enjoying the contrast of blood on white garments.
