Persephone participated in the 100th Arcane Hunger games -- the fourth Quarter Quell. He entered along with her lover, Hades. They represented District 9, and unfortunately only placed sixth.

THE BLOODBATH
The Cornucopia is even more chaotic than usual. The Guardians size each other up whilst standing protectively over their Charges. As the tension mounts, the horn sounds. Shanawdithit and Dirk and Hades and Persephone fight for a bag. Shanawdithit and Dirk kill Persephone and then retreat before Hades can realise what has happened.
